El Coto de Rioja Blanco 2021 [December 1, 2024] – In an effort to drink what I had in the house rather than go out and buy a small 4-pack of Pinot Grigio to cook my linguine in white clam sauce, I chose this wine that has been in the fridge for several months. While it was a nice break from the usual Pinot Grigio I cook with, this was a bit sharp. I don’t like any beverage ice cold, not even water on a hot day, so this was better served slightly cooler than room temperature than straight out of the fridge.
